How we work
Every job starts with a diagnostic visit for a flat $149. The technician finds the cause, explains it, and writes a quote for parts and labor. Nothing is replaced until you approve that quote, and the service call is credited toward the repair when you go ahead. If a repair is not worth doing, we say so and show you the numbers.
Parts and warranty
We fit OEM parts only, ordered against your model and serial number when they are not already on the truck. Every repair carries a labor warranty against defects in workmanship; the term is stated on your written quote before work begins, and OEM parts carry the manufacturer's own warranty.
Independence
HighTech Repair Services is an independent, out-of-warranty repair company and is not affiliated with or authorized by any appliance manufacturer. That independence matters in two ways: we can give unbiased repair-or-replace advice because we do not sell appliances, and we work on every brand rather than one manufacturer's line. If your appliance is still under the manufacturer's warranty, contact the manufacturer first so you do not lose that coverage.
Technicians
Our technicians are Washington-licensed and insured. We do not publish names or photographs of individual staff on this website; you will be told who is coming when the appointment is confirmed, and the technician carries identification.
What we do not do
- We do not sell new appliances or earn commissions on replacements.
- We do not use aftermarket or salvaged parts.
- We do not charge extra for same-day or emergency visits.
- We do not start work without a written, approved quote.

- Fee Credited: If you proceed with the repair, your $149 service call fee is credited toward the total cost of the job.
- No Hidden Fees: The price we quote after diagnosis is the price you pay. No surprises.
- Honest Assessment: If a repair isn't cost-effective due to parts availability or unit age, we'll tell you upfront.
- Professional Quote: Total repair cost is repair complexity plus required OEM parts.
Service Warranty
We stand behind our work. Every repair carries a labor warranty, and the term is stated on your written quote before work begins.
- Labor Warranty: All repair work is covered against defects in workmanship; the warranty term is stated on your written quote before work begins.
- Parts Warranty: OEM parts come with their own manufacturer warranty, typically ranging from 90 days to 1 year.
